Saving with Shareport
« on: March 09, 2010, 06:27:08 PM »

Perhaps this question is addressed, but when I look for it, I can't find it.

I have Win 7 64 and DIR-655.  Shareport 3 is running fine.  It says I am connected to my external hard drive (usb mass storage).  I see it there, says I am connected...but how do I access it?  I don't know how to "open" the drive to get files from it or how to save files to the drive?  It appears everything is working, so this is likely an oversite on my part...what am I missing?

Thanks,

Chris

If it is working correctly it should show up in the "Computer" window along with your hard drive(s) and other devices. You access it just like it was actually connected to a USB port on your PC.

Finally figured that out...thanks for response.  At the time I posted, it wasn't working correctly.  Quite frankly, it hasn't worked correctly much at all.  I have a printer connected to it now.  I get it working the way it should...then, later when I try to print, it give me an error saying it wasn't disconnected properly or some crap...I don't know.  Really tired of messing with it, to be honest.
