So, we currently have 32 phones on our system and are merging with another company. About 10-12 employees from their company will be moving in with us and about 30 will be staying in their remote location. We can definitely add the appropriate phones to our system but we'll be at 45 ish without much room for expansion. The system in the remote location does not have DID's so using "virtual extensions" that forward to an outside number isn't feasible. We will have a site to site VPN setup so we could put the remainder of the available phones in their office but we'd max out at 50. Is there a suggestion that one of you may have for expanding our system? Is it possible to use our 50 DPH-125MS phones that we've invested $5k in with another PBX? Should I just spend the cash for DID's at their site and just setup extensions that forward to outside lines on both systems?
Any suggestions for growing over 50 phones without tossing/ebaying our 50 phones that are under a year old?
Thanks for your help & suggestions in advance!
