Power recovery settings
« on: September 20, 2010, 12:38:26 AM »

I have two DNS-323, one I bought like last week, and the other is 1.5 years old. Both are running 1.08, but only one of them (the newer) has a setting for Power Recovery in the power management tab. Does this mean they are different hardware revisions, and could this difference be the reason why only one of them (again, the newer) is showing the popular fan-never-goes-off-although-set-to-auto/off/low/high bug?

The new unit is probably Hardware revision C1. There should be a sticker on the bottom of the units that will tell you which HW Rev they are.

Yeah. I'm at work right now so I can't check it, but after reading a couple of threads on here I think this must be the case (C1) Are there any known solutions to this bug other than waiting for 1.10?
