I have the DAP-1522 access point in my room and i also have the dlink DIR 825 Routor in my room. At night when i turn off the light with them both on it lights my whole room up I was thinking there could be a way in the setup of the dlink products that you could either dim the LEDS or turn them completely off on the front of the Access Point or the Routors.

How about a low-tech solution?
A coloured piece of plastic, in the complementing colour? So, for green lights a piece of red clear plastic. Simple, but elegant...

Glad I'm not the only one annoyed by that bright LEDs! I taped a strip of cardstock over mine so I can still see the glow of what lights are on, but it doesn't light up the room in the dark.

Wow! Cardstock... Did not know the lights were -that- bright... But then again, I never sleep in the same room as any radio-waves-transmitting devices (no, not even a cordless phone). So I never have issues with LED Lights keeping me awake at night... But I do have the low-tech complimentary colours solution put onto the alarm-radio...
