Proper Remote Access Setup DCS-1100
« on: February 09, 2010, 03:00:44 PM »

I currently have one DCS-1100 and plan to have additional units if I can have flexibility to manage and access them remotely.  My I have a DIR-655 Router and a WHS (Windows Home Server) with remote access.  I currently have modified the 1100 to a new port "8080" and set the routers virtual sever private/public HTTP settings the same.  I currently have my WHS set to 80/80 for private public and the DIR-655 complained about that with multiple warnings.  I now have remote access but mydlink is useless. Also inside my network it is awkward to work with.

Thanks
