Office 2007 files says "Access Denied..."
« on: April 19, 2010, 09:20:29 AM »

Most of my files says Access Denied, contact your system administrator. I can access the folder fine, but Excel files doesn't open. I have read from different forums that this is know issue. I know this is Samba issue, but how can i fix it. Is there some beta firmware that helps. Do I need to do something to samba config and if that is required how can I do that?

Have you updated to firmware 1.08?  This was an issue with previous releases.

This issue is persisting with other applications. Shutting down the server and powering it back up resolves the issue for a while. Seems to reoccur in about a week. So this issue is not resolved. Maybe they will fix it in the next release of the firmware???
