So this is kind of an odd one.
I've had a DIR-655 for the last six or seven months (all four computers on the network run wireless with it) and all of a sudden, everytime I leave uTorrent running, the router will still broadcast, but nothing can be accessed. Utorrent can't connect to peers, Firefox (or IE or Chrome) can't connect to the web, iTunes can't download podcasts, etc., etc.
Power cycling the router seems to fix it temporarily, as in I can access the internet again, but it will inevitably happen again.
Here's the weird part: it only seems to happen if I let the torrents run idle. That is, if I'm on the net and running uTorrent, surfing or what have you, I get no such problems. But if I leave it on overnight, or go out, or make lunch downstairs, it will happen.
Well, that's not to say nothing happens when surfing the net. Intermittently, I will get weird wireless disconnects. The router uptime doesn't reset, but the internet seems to lose access. I thought this might be my wireless card (a DWA Wireless Desktop Adapter) but A) it happens on my XBox 360 and laptop, as well, and B) my old POS Linksys WRT54G that I'm using right now is working fine. I don't know if these problems are connected (it happens even if I'm not running torrents), but it is a problem.
Any help?
