I just installed a DIR-615 and a DAP-1360, the latter to address a signal strength issue with the opposite end of the house. Unfortunately, when using my DWA-110 NIC, it seems I can't get on to the 1360, it only wants to talk to the 615. I've tried other (B class) wireless cards and they seem to do the same thing.
Yes, the 1360 did set-up correctly, saw the 615, copied down the name of the router, the keys, and I can access the 1360 administratively via direct connect, over the hard-wire portion of the network, or even via the 615. I verified that the MAC address that the various wireless NICs are talking to is the 615, not the 1360 - even when they are separated by 1 foot or less distance.
Help - will the 615 and 1360 talk to each other via Repeater configuration or is there a product mismatch? I've checked the firmware levels on both devices and they indicate they are the newest versions. Are they interoperable, or did I buy the wrong thing?
