Couple of questions regarding my newly acquired DIR 825....
a) How do I create a different subnet from the one where the router is (198.168.0.1)? I've saw the fields at the wired menu of the setup tab and thought it would be just changing the router address, for instance, 192.168.10.1 and right below setup the range of the DHCP (let's say 192.168.10.100 to 150 for instance). This way I would be isolating my network in the .10 subnete. This is done easily in Linksys routers but with DLink I cant go back and access the 192.168.10.1 (the router assigned address). The program just hangs there and do not throw any messages. I will appreciate any help... or it is not necessary to have the packages crossing the router to a subnet to enhance security?
2) This same router works flawlessly in wireless (computers in the same subnet as the router...) but keeps losing connection with the internet ramdomly. I've read some postings listing the same problem. Is this a well known issue? If so what should I do: warranty?
By the way my rputer is an 825 B hardware with a 2.0 firmware
Sincerely Thanks to you all
