Files Disappearing
« on: May 10, 2010, 05:50:51 AM »

Someone please help us!  We have 7 of these Nas all configured to raid 1 and we have 5 computers set up on a network.  We are running windows 7 on 2 of the computers and windows xp on the others.  For some reason when one of the windows 7 computers opens a file sometimes the file just dissapears and it is lost and gone forever.  This is bad seeing we are a multimedia production company.  Please anyones help would be awesome.

FWIW, I've been using a DNS-321 and DNS-323 with three Windows 7 machines, as well as Vista and XP machines, and I've never seen anything like this from either of the boxes.  I can't imagine this being an issue with the NAS...

Yeah..I have never herd of this issue. After reviewing all tech support cases I have not seen an issue remotely close to what you explain....very strange.

Is it one specific file type?
