I had something odd happen and I thought I knew how to fix it.

My unit has been up and running for about a month now and suddenly it "lost" all of the files and most of the available space.

When I looked at the folder structure, I had only one folder listed where I had 12 or so before. Within that one folder was a 46kb zip file with a name starting with ifo. I wasn't able to open it. The available space showed 46mb. I have a 750GB drive that was no where near full.

I updated to firmware 1.03 and unmounted the connection.

I can't get it back.

The network activity light shows traffic and the light indicating the drive is working is on and blue.

Frankly, I'm stumped. Any help will be appreciated.

OK, more..

I browsed the network and saw the 321's default name. Clicking on this shows the folders that I previously lost.

Easy Search still can't see it.

Ok. Nevermind. Either I stumbled into the Twilight Zone or I managed to fix it the way it supposed to be.

Jeebuz that was annoying.
