Built in BT client keeps resetting

anyone got this issue where changing the config for the built-in BT client is not persistent and keeps resetting back to normal after sometime(maybe even 10-mins)
starting to get really irritating...
not sure if this is the same but i noticed this issue came out after i replaced a faulty drive and rebooted the NAS. when it was syncing the disks it kept complaining BT client is not installed and asked me to install from cd-rom
