Help Streaming to Sony Blu-Ray System
« on: November 23, 2010, 01:58:32 PM »

I just bought a Sony BDV-F7 bluray/sound bar system that has DLNA streaming capability.  By converting vids to MPEG-2 and running a media server on my PC (Serviio worked well), I was able to stream with few issues and quality was good. But I didn't want to run my PC all the time, so I went and bought a Dlink DNS-323.

After a couple days, I haven't been able to get video to stream at all from it.  I've tried both the built in media server and also Twonky.  No matter what I do I either don't see the files at all (Twonky), or if I do and click one (built in media server), it tells me they are unsupported or corrupt. I know they worked when streaming from the PC, so they must be the right format, etc.  Music seems to work just fine, it's only video (haven't tried photos).

I'm going to try Mediatomb tonight too, but I don't have high hopes.  Anything I might be missing?

They're both *.mpg files.
