Hi,
I've been using the builtin uPNP media server in the DNS-323 and it seems to work fine feeding mp3 to my linksys media player, with one exception. M3U playlists in a directory containing just song names in that directory are fine, but I've found no way to specify a path in the M3U to allow songs from other directories that works on the DNS-323. Playlist always shows as empty when using a path.
Looked at many other forums for hints, on other similar NAS boxes, etc. I'm using the forward slash format since this is ARM / Linux based. Here are some of the things I've tried with a simplified file structure:
I've made a simple tree where I have a single mp3 in:
Volume_1/Media/Test/song/the_song.mp3
Note: the UpnP base folder is /Volume_1/Media/Test
A m3u in the "song" folder containing just "the_song.mp3" will work fine. I've tried placing a m3u in the Test folder containing all these lines (one at a time) , and never found the song (with a refresh every time):
song/the_song.mp3
./song/the_song.mp3
/song/the_song.mp3
//song/the_song.mp3
Test/song/the_song.mp3
/Test/song/the_song.mp3
//Test/song/the_song.mp3
/Media/Test/song/the_song.mp3
//Media/Test/song/the_song.mp3
/Volume_1/Media/Test/song/the_song.mp3
//Volume_1/Media/Test/song/the_song.mp3
/KNAS/Volume_1/Media/Test/song/the_song.mp3
//KNAS/Volume_1/Media/Test/song/the_song.mp3
/KNAS/Volumes/Volume_1/Media/Test/song/the_song.mp3
//KNAS/Volumes/Volume_1/Media/Test/song/the_song.mp3
What is the secret sauce to make this work?

If this is just broken, can we please add it to the 1.07 wishlist!
Thanks!
