Hi,
I am using the DIR-615 (Revision D with firmware 4.13) as a secondary router (for using its WLAN) by having it connected to another DHCP router and having its DHCP and UPnP functions deactivated as instructed in the users manual.
Everything is working as it should but ever since then, I cannot connect to the configuration site of the DIR-615 (192.168.0.1) anymore (request times out not matter if I connect via LAN or WLAN). So everytime I want to access it (for changing WLAN settings like changing channels as I frequently have to do) I have to reset the router to its default settings and install a 15 meter ethernet cable across the house.
Is the DIR-615 designed in this way? Is there no way I can access the DIR-615 configuration site after deactivating DHCP and UPnP?
By the way i never changed the router ip and the Lookup function of my PCs and Macs do only find the main dhcp ip and the PCs and MACs IP in the LAN. The DIR-615 practically just vanished.
Thanks for your help in advance.
