Having trouble with xbox 360 video library
« on: September 25, 2010, 01:02:48 PM »

After I add or remove videos from my 323, my xbox does not pull missing videos from the list, and does not add new videos to my media list. I also cannot get more than 94 videos to show up on the xbox list, even though I have 150 files in my NAS library. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I've got the latest firmware, but even after restarting the NAS and the 360, the 360 can't seem to figure out what is on the NAS.

You might have a filename that the DNS-323 does not like... so it can't index it properly...
try sticking with letters, numbers, spaces, under scrores and periods

Avoid all the rest...
I also nothices that if the Path+Filename is longer that 70 char the 360 will have problem playing it

Ok, the file paths + names could be the problem, thank you!
