I believe this was brought a number of times in the past, but I never found a definitive answer -- the DHCP settings (and certain others) are "missing" from the 1522 UI.

I'm using 2 brand new 1522's, fresh out of the box, and Both are missing these settings - one is running 1.1 and the other, 1.21; I have Not upgraded the f/w's on both for now (I actually previously had a 3rd 1522, that I have since returned, and was Also missing these settings and was running 1.31)

I have tried with 4 different browsers: IE8, Chrome, Opera, Safari -- None are showing the DHCP settings. I have reset browser settings to default several times, all in vain.

I finally resortted to call D-Link support - which itself was an adventure of its own - and am now waiting for a "callback" from their "Level 3" Technical support, all of that after being told that:
A) DCHP only exists in AP mode
B) The 1522 does not support DHCP
C) The 1522 manual mistakenly suggests DHCP support

I can work around this problem by specifying static IP's on the devices that connect to my 1522's, however I have 2 devices that will only accept a LAN IP from a DHCP service. If it wasn't for these 2 devices, I could live without DHCP on the 1522.

Ideas, thoughts, comments?

use internet explorer , it's in setup network not in advanced

No, I'm not talking about DHCP in the Network Settings, I'm talking about the DHCP Server settings in the Advanced tab -- Look at the manual, page 31.

The settings that you're referring to have nothing to do with what I'm looking for.

And Yes, I am using IE.

Upgraded both my 1522's to 1.31, still no DHCP Server settings. Mind-boggling.

Still waiting for a callback from D-Link Level 3 support.

Never seen those settings , but i use as bridge , will look to see if in AP settings later

well i went through every setting possible , even went to dlink site and looked opn emulator and help files , cannot find those DHCP settings any where . A compete mystery , maybe they are hidden somewhere and some hack can bring them out .
 Now you got me started I'm going to try and find those settings !

Those settings are only available in AP mode not bridge mode. In bridge mode, your "router" gives the devices plugged into your DAP-1522 their IP address.

Hi jerry6, I don't know what's happen in other places, but just yesterday I've bought a DAP-1522, and not in DAP not in the manual I've seen this option .... so DAP-1522 don't have DHCP server service...

Yes, but how does the DHCP work if all devices connected at dap-1522 have for the router, that assign IP addresses, the same MAC-ADDRESS??? This is a problem for a fixed addresses plan too if the devices connected through DAP-1522 have a host name not recognized by the router that controls the network traffic.
