lost connection every few minutes

Hoping somebody will have of experienced this as I need some help. I am loosing the connection to the DNS-321 every few minutes, if I restart the computer it will eventually find the DNS-321 again but then lose the connection within a few minutes. It will sometimes find it after a minute or two, only to lose it again a few minutes later. Since I keep all my video on there, I am not able to watch anything at the minute. In fact, I can't even copy any video to the DNS-321 as it loses the connection before it is finished copying over 350MB. Does anybody have a suggestion of what I should try. If it matters, I am using an iMac 27in Core i7, 4GB. I am not loosing my internet connection, so I don't think it is my router (a Dlink DIR-655) as all my other devices are staying connected (iMac, PS3, printer, iPhone etc). Thanks in advance
