Is it possible to connect my laptop in the following way:
Wirelessly to my Dir-625 wich has internet access
and Wired to my Di-524 which doesn't have internet access.
The reason why I want to do this is to share my hard drive with my sister's network- the wired connection- as she can't have internet access.
I tried by having the wireless connected to the Dir-625 and the wired connected to the di-524, but when I go to access the internet, nothing appears... it says page cannot be found. When I unplug the wire, Then I can access the internet again.
How can I set this up so that I can connect both and still have full internet access?
I have found this link: http://www.homenethelp.com/web/howto/windows-xp-bridge.asp that is sort of similar to what I am trying to do, except for my setup is as follows:
Cable Modem -> Dir-625
Laptop connects to DIR-625 via Wireless and Connects to Di-524 via wire.
How Can I "bridge" the connections so that I can access the internet and both networks?
I have tried bridging in xp but it doesn't seem to work correctly.
