Multiple networks - PLEASE HELP - Security Problem
« on: July 28, 2008, 11:36:48 AM »

Connect to network screen on Vista shows 2 d-link networks, the secure I set up as secured and is working properly.  There is also and a second network called "D-Link" which is unsecured.  Net Magic shows the D-Link connect at the primary LAN and the secured as the router.
How do I get rid of the unsecured and make the secured my primary without screwing up all the connections and sharing that are working perfectly?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Is this on the "wireless" networks list?  If so, then you need to rename your "secured" router.  D-Link seems to be the "default" wireless network name.  You may have a neighbour which has their own "dlink" router which is not set up correctly.
