Bit Torrent Glitch with 1.05
« on: May 16, 2008, 08:26:27 PM »

I just picked up my DNS-323 when 1.05 came out  :)
I updated to it and installed a single  1 TB WD drive.(standard single disk)
Used easy search utility to install bit torrent.
Turned on UPnP server.
Turned on FTP server
I tested it out and i fell in love with it. :)
I could use it from all my computers windows 2k, xp, vista and linux
and with the UPnP server I could stream mp3s and pictures to my PS3
Bit Torrent worked just fine.

After I read up on this forum about raid 1 I picked up a second 1 tb wd drive.

I backed up all my data and installed the new drive.
after powering the dns back up it formated the new drive and came back up.
I then reformatted the dns as a raid 1.
with the drives reformatted as raid 1 I then reinstalled BT (using easy search utility)

I then tried to use bit torrent and it would not work.
I could not add a new torrent using URL.
I could add a torrent from a file. but it would never start the down load.

The way I fixed this problem was to go to TOOLS / system / and Restored To Factory Default Settings.

after that it started working again  :)
