Hi everybody,
First things first, I love my DNS-323.
I am confused about the UPnP AV Server and the support for the various file formats. Specifically, I wonder why the server does not support .SRT files. For example, I can stream DivX and MP4 to my (Samsung) TV but without (external) subtitles.
Whose responsibility is this? D-Link's or UPnP's itself?
In other words, my question is, should we, users, ask D-Link to add support for .SRT files (when streaming movies) or is it the UPnP protocol that does not support streaming of subtitles?
Any ideas?
I would very much appreciate it if you could provide me with a reasonable answer. Your reply does not have to be a solution to the problem. Just speak your mind.

Bottom line is, I have my DNS-323 filled with great movies but without subtitle support I may have to think about moving them to another media server solution if this is not expected to (or cannot) be fixed in the future.
