What firmware does a new A2 come with?

I was able to get them to send a replacement A2 router. Does anyone know what firmware version it comes with? And what is the best firmware to upgrade to, not going with 1.2+? In terms of stability as well as performance? I connect a ps3, 2 laptops and 2 blackberries that use voip so wireless stability and disconnections are not going to work for me. Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance.

The A2 ships with the 1.12.  I insisted they test mine before it was sent out so mine came with the 1.21NA.  They didn't test it very well at all though since it's still absolutely no where near to functioning properly.  I would of liked to have tried it with the 1.12 firmware as well but I can't even roll it back to anything less than the 1.20.  ):

My a2 shipped with 1.12 which I ran for a day then flashed to 1.16.  I have no intention of going any higher until d-link fixes their fw and I'm not holding my breath.

Puffnstuff, since you ran 1.12 and 1.16, which would you say ran more reliably and performed better? Is 1.16 the best firmware to go without jumping to anything higher than 1.2+?

Yes 1.16 is the best post 1.02 fw I've used.  Now keep in mind I use the hardwired side so I cannot comment on wireless performance.  As I've previously stated if you want 1.16 provide me with an email address and I'll send it to ya.

Thanks for the help so far, however I do have a few wireless clients. Does anyone know how the wireless performed with FW 1.16?
