Simultaneous Composite/Component Output?
« on: June 14, 2008, 02:36:58 PM »

One reason I got the 750 was because I saw that it had multiple outputs. Apparently, the software only allows one of these to work at a time. The MediaLounge setup menu gives me the options: Composite, Component, OR HDMI. I do not see S-Video listed here, and cannot get a signal out of this output.

Is there any way to drive either the composite or the S-Video output while using the Component or the HDMI? (I want the 1080 signal going to the TV and the 480 SD signal going out to the rest of the house - Time Warner's awful DVR keeps all outputs running simultaneously, and I was hoping that the 750 would do this.)

I am very sorry but one video output can be used at a time. You may want to look into a HDMI switch for multiple video output as used by Television retailers to display the same video output to all Televisions.

Any chance this feature can be added.  I am looking to connect either component(RGB) or HDMI and also have a composite output which goes to a home distribution to watch on all other tv's in house.  This would be a deal breaker for me.

I will forward this as a feature request to Product management.
