Problems connecting internet TV

Hi Everyone. I've been using this router (DIR-625) for a while on my desk-top and wireless with no problems at all.

Recently I purchased an internet TV box from Nextv.com just wanted a few channels from the ol' country.

The box works perfect if I connect it direct to the cable modem, however connecting it to the LAN port on the router I get no picture or sound. I am figuring it has something to do with the streaming aspect of the nextv box (according to the company you need at least 1.5mb/s download which is no problem, speed test showed 4.5mb/s) but not sure how to go about getting it working so I still retain wired/wireless internet functionality.

Any help would be appreciated even if it means I have to get another router.
