DFL-800 WebContent filtering
« on: January 14, 2011, 03:57:06 AM »

Hello,

I'm trying to configure the webcontent filtering on a dfl-800.
I know how to configure ALG and the service.

The problem is after.
When i try to apply the service to a nat ip rule, here are the results :

* On 1 rule, internet connection losed (it's not this one)
* on another nat rule, i apply and i test : internet ok, the filtered page (configured on alg) is rejected one time but when i call it again, i get the page... pfff

I tried also to apply the alg object to others services like HTTP...
is that a solution ?

i think i don't choose the good rule (and i need to configure on wan 1 and wan 2).

I would also to block the p2p ports.

Someone to help me ?

So thank you for your help

Jean-Philippe

You need to check that dns server are properly configure on system/dns of firewall.
create nat rule with content filtering (only filter http service).
then set the rule on the top of all rules for test.

that should be working.

regarding blocking p2p ports, better install ips licence and and create idp rules and pipe all p2p applications.
