« on: October 16, 2011, 10:43:47 AM »

When im downloading 3 things at 1-2MBps this also occur with one item at 4MBps,  i disconnect from the internet the GLOBE from my router turns orange/amber, and i have to disconnect the A/c Power and reconnect it. then my internet will come back up, im currently running on the 2.02NA FW and HW B1 i had this router a long time really love it but i need this to stop T_T its annoying it will disconnect after 5minutes while downloading and i wouldnt know until i open google chrome.

another problem:

when i connect to my modem directly (no router) i get amazing download speeds i go up to 6.0MBps, but when i connect to my router i get up to 4.0MBps then it disconnect after 5-10minutes while im downloading it started to get real annoying im currently using a DIR-825 is it my router problem? im also using a CAT 5E

What HW version is your router?
What FW version is currently loaded?

What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
What ISP Modem make and model do you have?

Ensure DNS IP addresses are being filled in under Setup/Internet/Manual?
Turn off QoS options.
Turn off Advanced DNS Services if you have this option.
Turn on DNS Relay under Setup/Networking.
Setup DHCP reserved IP addresses for all devices on the router.
Ensure devices are set to auto obtain an IP address.
Set Firewall settings to Endpoint Independent for TCP and UDP.

What wireless modes are you using?
Try single mode G or mixed G and N?
What security mode are you using? WEP, WPA or WPA2? Preferred is WPA2. Cipher type to Auto
