DIR-655 with Sprint EVDO adapter? Plus a bluetooth adapter?
« on: October 24, 2008, 05:43:51 AM »

I have a few questions since I am curious about if this would be a better option for us regarding cable modem vs. Sprint mobile broadband.  Maybe lycan of someone else can help out here.

I have the DIR655 with FW 1.21, sharepoint, etc...  I know that a 3G USB adapter can work with this router as per the router USB setup page option.  But my question is, can the Sprint counterpart EVDO network USB adapter work with this router?

If it can work, that means that I would be able to share the internet connection with other computers, correct?  Or would only one computer work since the sharepoint limitation of only one computer at a time?

If it won't work, I assume that I would have to get one of these.  However, on the emulator page the Sprint USB adapter isn't listed.

I don't run any torrents so that isn't an issue with the mobile broadband since I know Sprint doesn't offer that.

~~Another questions is, could a blue tooth adapter work with the DIR655?  To work with a blue tooth phone or other device.

Thanks

The 3g functionality does not work here in the states yet.
As for the USB bluetooth adapter, i highly doubt that will work but you could try it.
