DSM-750 can’t access content of folder on DNS-323
« on: November 18, 2008, 10:49:10 PM »

I have 750 working as windows media extender
I have folder on dns-323 called movies with bunch of subfolders and movies
On my windows vista (64bit) media SERVER  I have no problem to view and watch these movies. However on my 750 I choose to monitor this folder and after 30 second of scanning there is nothing?
Any Idea how to fix it. I have read only rights for group users on this folder. How does the 750 accessing this folder? As user logged in to my vista machine?
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
George

Make sure you add the folders when you are on the Media Center Extender. The MCE will look at a different list of added folders for content as MCE on you PC does.
