Hello.
I have read a lot of posts about how to reset my router to default settings and none of them work.

My problem:

I can not reset my Dir 601 to default settings. I tried the 10 seconds reset, 15, 20, 30 even a minute. When I press the reset button lightly or firmly the lights don't flash. I tried unplugging in or with the power or or with ethernet cable in or out, still can't reset.
 
When I try to log in as an Admin it gives me an incorrect password error. I know 100% I didn't change the password. Some people advised me to remove the battery that powers the internal memory, but i don't know how to open the case.

Any advise is GREATLY appreciated. I will be checking this post very often to communicate with people who reply.

Hi. Well, there is only 1 button marked as RESET and the other button is on top of the router, which is wireless. I have misplaced the manual. Anyone could point to me directions please?
