Can't get AGERE MPC13A-20 Network Card connect
« on: November 16, 2008, 10:36:52 AM »

I can not get my laptop to connect to the DIR-615 wireless router.  My laptop can connect to several different unsecured routers around the neighborhood, but not mine. The network card is an AGERE MPC13A-20 and I have updated the driver.   I have rebooted the router, unsecured the security, tried only the 802.11g mode as well as all the others and nothing works.  The only thing that I can get to connect is a laptop that has the DWA-130 USB connected.

Any suggestions?

sdleikam,

What message does it give you when you try connecting? XP/Vista? Is your router secured or unsecured? MAC Filtering enabled on the router? Etc..
