you need the newer version. its on the dlink site.
you also need to have the 1.04 or 1.05 firmware on the 323

I upgraded DNAS to 1.05 firmware, used easy search to install bittorrent but couldn't get bittorrent to work.  I realized it was installing to second drive but the web utility page didn't regonize the install.  I then swiched drives, re-installed and switched the drives back which seemed to work, but only for a day.  Now when I try to use bittorrent it says "connection to server failed".

I tried swapping the drives around again with no luck.  I can't delete the Nas prog folder in either drive, I get "access denied" message.  Any solutions?

Update:
Just pulled out the second drive and bittorrent works fine.  When I put the second drive back in I get the same "connection to server failed" message.  Both drives are maxtor, one is 160 gb, the second drive is a 200 gb drive.

Keep getting the connection to server failed
Seem it is a known issue here for the DNS323.
How can we get this fixed????

When you add second HD, the second HD then became the "default" BT server. based on my experience, there is no way to assign BT server - it always has to be the latter one. So you need to install BT client again to second HD. And all of your incomplete BT downloads on first HD will be stalled.
