Multiple permissions on a share
« on: December 10, 2008, 04:53:31 AM »

I don't know if I can't figure this out, or if it is a 1.07 wishlist item, but is it possible to assign multiple permissions on a share?  For example, if I create a share called Music where I have R/W capability, can I create a group called Family (with the rest of my family members) where I assign the group Family Read Only access on Music?  Thank you.

No, and this is one of the biggest, most glaring problems with the current firmware, in my opinion.

Yes, I 'broke' my head over 14 days... And up to the point cant do it:(
So anybody can solve it? IMHO, chrooted Debian or simple ffp/samba (3.2.3 at this time) can help, but... but I'm newbie in *nix and doesn't have knowledge how to do it... Are anybody can give advice at this 'brain-twister' direction?
