BT problem with fw 1.06 (Solved)
« on: January 03, 2009, 01:41:26 AM »

After i upgraded to fw 1.06 my BT don't work.
When I paste a link to "Add Torrent From URL" I can press ADD and it looks like it is accepted.
But I don't get any file to download, no link with start and stop button.

I have:
- Made Factory reset.
- Deleted BT and Nas_Prog folders.
- Installed BT again.

It still doesn't work.
Someone knows what I do wrong?

----------------
I had no IP-adress in DNS1 under LAN Settings.
When I fixed that it worked  :)

I'm having the exact same issue with adding via URL or .torrent file.  Under DNS 1 I have the IP for my DGL-4500.  I tried changing the IP address to the OpenDNS servers, but that didn't help.

Do you have it set up via DHCP or static IP?

I use static IP adress.

In DNS1 I use the same IP adress as in Gateway.
The IP adress is to my Internet Gateway/Router.

I use OpenDNS' servers.   I find them to be much more reliable than my ISP's DNS servers.

Once I changed the device to a static IP with DNS 1 as my router IP and rebooted the torrents appeared.

I lied, it's still not working.  I can't add any more torrents.

It turns out that in my earlier troubleshooting I copied the .torrent file in to the proper directory on the drive.  Rebooting the 323 caused the torrent software to see the file and start the transfer.
