Hi,

Just purchased the DWA-556 for my desktop as I can't run a cable to the router from where the desktop is. The performance is horrible. My Lenovo T510 gets a better connection and faster speeds in the same location. The distance between the router and the computer is ~30 feet or 10 metres.

First, here's the details and settings:

* Win7 64-bit
* DWA-556 driver 9.2.0.105 (Atheros AR5008)

Aw, no one?

Edit: I'm now seeing about 21.5 mb/s or ~2700KB/s. Not really "N" speeds. I've changed the settings to these:

(short GI doesn't make things better for me)

And here you can see the statistics on the DIR-655, about every other time I refresh the page the errors goes up, so something's not right:

Yeah, it makes no difference.

same here, I don't know whats causing the low performance the router or the card, I think it's both
