Streaming jpegs to a DLNA TV
« on: September 29, 2010, 08:39:26 AM »

I'm trying to view jpegs on a DLNA Samsung TV...the problem I'm having is that some folders with pics in them are viewable and some are not- sometimes a folder with pics that are saved on the DNS doesn't even show up on the TV...I have the exact same issue when attempting to view the same pics through the PS3.
With videos its not problem....
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks guys

Which firmware version are you running?

Also should add that I have two folders set up on the DNS ...pictures and movies.
In the pictures folder i have several subfolders of pictures I have taken at events, trips, etc....
Most times when I go into my Samsung TV to view "all pictures" I can see them, but when I go to the individual folder, I cannot.
I checked for special symbols ie quotations, slash's, dash's, etc. and made sure all were named and saved the same but I get the same result.
Very Strange.
Have noted that this topic was discussed in the past by others but there doesn't seem to be a viable solution.

I'm having the same exact problem with my Samsung TV.
Did you ever figure this out?
Thanks

Maybe cures this by checking the "Root" box?
Pretty confusing with all the folders to go through.
