My guess would be there are too many idiots who call in because of simple problems that could be fixed if they weren't so simple minded and ignorant. As a result of this, they treat every caller as if they are an idiot who can't tell the difference between black and white. I was unable to get any serious help through their customer support because they treat everyone like they don't know the first thing about networking. The dude kept trying to get me to do stuff I had already been trying through basic troubleshooting, that any person with half a brain would have tried. What I wanted from them was some information that perhaps only the manufacturer of the product could provide, not basic troubleshooting tips that required only the smallest amount of logic. Can't really blame them though, those stupid ass tips probably do solve problems for the majority of callers.
