combining RAID 0 and RAID 1.
« on: February 16, 2011, 03:56:33 AM »

Hi!

I have a DNS-323 currently with one 500 Gb disk in it and now I want to change so I have two new disks in them.

I will probably buy two 1 Tb disks and I want to know if the following setup i feasible.

I want RAID 1 on 200 Gb and RAID 0 on the rest (1.6 Gb). Is this possible?

I've tried to google this, but haven't found anything concerning this...

Thanks in advance!

/Jonas

yes... just set your raid 1 amount and the rest will be JBOD (RAID0)

Well, JBOD and RAID0 isn't technically equivalent, but I'll guess it will do the job for my needs.

Thank you.
