email used to work, now does not work
« on: February 18, 2011, 08:42:09 AM »

I can't get the email to work from the router.  It worked flawlessly for weeks then stopped working.
I verified that the outgoing settings are still valid and that my antivirus is not blocking the email.
What else can I check for?
Thanks

I wasn't clear.  I meant emailing of the router's logs.
Regular email is fine.

I've only noticed that once the routers logs gets full, then the email is sent from the router. Have you set up all the log options or have you selected some of the log options. I notice that if you select some of the options, the logs don't fill up as fast and will take longer to fill up and be sent.

I am using the send email button.

Well, i've never used that button yet...I just set the information up and been getting emails since. Only thing I notice is that when I get emails, the emails say that the logs are full.

I haven't been able to set up a schedule either.  The only schedule option is "never".

Hi robertMN,

Have you had any recent Power Outages? Sometimes it can cause the Router's Settings to become corrupted. If you previously backed up your configuration of the Router, before? Do a Factory Reset using the Reset Button in the back of the Router. Then simply restore the Configuration Data, otherwise, enter the Data new.
