Help with setup of usb storage and xbox 360 streaming.
« on: March 05, 2011, 11:17:33 AM »

Hi.  I have a newly acquired a DGL 4500.  From what I've read it appears I can setup a usb harddrive connected to the router directly which will be able to stream videos to my xbox 360.  I haven't however been able to find any directions on what specific settings I need to setup on either the router/xbox/usb storage device.

Any advice, tips or directions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I presume this might be able to work however I have no experience in doing it. You could take a look at the Shareport documentation and see if it gives any information on this.

I recently setup a windows 7 server with Media Center and now stream to both of my xboxes.

Let us know if you find anything. Maybe others on here can lend some help out.
