i am looking firmware for DIR-618, please help, previously there was a separate section for DIR-618 router what happened to it ?

Where in the world are you? You might have to visit the locale site for dlink where you live at. the dlink.com site is a U.S. site which probably doesnt' support a 618 router as it was probably not marketed here.
