Hey guys...not the most technologically advanced person around, but I can get my way through a tutorial pretty well. I have a dir-615, and I used to (seemingly) have my NAT open and my ports forwarded fine. However, ever since I've had a new computer, no matter what I do, my NAT will not change from Moderate to Open. I've tried a bunch of stuff, but my Xbox indicates that it is Moderate, even though my router says: Endpoint Independent is clicked. I've tried triggering and forwarding ports, neither seem to work. I'm assuming, that in which case, it is either a router issue or the xbox's. However, when trying to forward ports for Minecraft or anything else, that seems to not work either. Anyone have any ideas? I've tried turning off SPI, turning on DMZ, UPnP is on, setting a static IP for my xbox, etc. The only thing I haven't tried is plugging my xbox directly into my modem, because there isn't any space. Actually, now that I think about it, it may be an issue with the modem, because I got a new modem (siemens gigaset SE567) around the same time as my PC. Anyone have any ideas at all in terms of what it could be/what possible solution I could use? it seriously limits my ability to do things online through Xbox Live. Thanks.

Check out the gaming and gamefuel sticky over on the DGL-4500 forum. The UI is a bit different however you can use the data on all routers.

What ISP service do you have? Cable or DSL?
What ISP Modem do you have? stand alone or built in router?

I checked that out, but everything listed was things I have already tried/changed, to no avail.

Currently believe I have Cable, and the modem is a standalone Siemens Gigaset 567 which was provided to me when my old modem busted, which worked for forwarding ports/NAT issues. My router is a Dlink DIR-615, and I have my 360 directly wired into the router. I'm assuming then, it may be a modem issue?

I'd plug the xbox connection directly into the modem itself, but there are no jacks available. Any ideas?

Nope, you have DSL:

And yea, you have to either forward inside your modem, or set it to bridge/transparent mode. Might want to start by calling your ISP and asking them: A, is that allowed, and B, how to do it. I would offer you a link to the manual, but seems in Siemans infinite wisdom, they only offer the full version in Spanish. Going here should bring you to the modems access page though.

Ya once you get the DSL modem bridged, take a look in the Gaming and QoS for XBL sticky. Gives good info on how to set up QoS for XBL. The UI is a bit different however the data works the same on other routers. Let us know how it goes.

Alright, thanks guys. Before I call my Aliant (my ISP), is there any way to access the modem page besides http://gigaset/ or 192.168.1.254? I've tried IP config /all, but all that shows up is my router gateway. I'm guessing if I can't access it through either of those, there's a specific IP that bell made for it? or something along those lines.

I would directly connect to the modem if you havn't already, with a PC and see if you can connect to the modems web page.  Then look at the gateway address on the PC, that should be the address of the modem. I've seem some modems addressing at 192.168.100.1. From what I see on the internet, 192.168.1.254 should be the default address. Let us know.

Best bet is to bypass the router, go direct from modem to PC, and see what your gateway is. Since its a modem router combo, it shouldn't be bridging your gateway like a normal modem, so the gateway will be your modem's access page.  There is a possibility your ISP has it blocked though.
