How do I set up a DCS-932L without access to the router?

I want to set up a DCS-932L camera to connect to a wireless access point, but I don't have physical access or authorization to the access point's router.  For example, at a hotel or other Wifi hot spot. Can I first set up the DCS-932L network parameters for the hot spot (e.g. wireless security code and SSID) using only a PC connected via Ethernet cable to the camera?  If so, how?  Once I have the camera''s wifi network parameters set, and disconnect the Ethernet cable from the PC, will the camera automatically get its IP address from the access point and then register itself on the mydlink web portal?  If not, how do I get it to do that?
