NTP Not Working
« on: February 20, 2009, 07:55:13 PM »

Does enabling NTP work for anyone?

It doesn't work for me. I made sure the appropriate port, UDP 123 was open on my firewall.

I've tried all NTP servers including time.apple.com.

I know time.apple.com works properly because I have another device on my network, that logs (every hour) that it has contacted a time server.

I just upgraded to 1.06 software.

The software version out of the box was 1.04

I'm using "pool.ntp.org" just as I do on my other LAN devices with NTP clients, and that appears to be working fine on the DNS-323.

try "time.nist.gov" - it's one of the more accurate time servers in the USA.
