Securespot 2.0 and firmware 1.22 confusion

First thing: I don't know why Securespot 2.0 is ''enabled'' when I never remember signing up for it. I tried to go with ''forgot my password'' just in case I did forget--pressing the ''submit'' button doesn't seem to work so I have no idea--and I didn't receive any email.

So I went with ''register'' and when I entered my MAC I got ''invalid.'' It said to call an 800 number, which I will do later today.

Should I disable Securespot until I have this confusion resolved?

Very confused about the entire firmware update overall. There doesn't seem to be anyone minding the store on this subject in general. No information except a very short description of what's changed. If you have 1.21 installed and try to check for firmware updates--1.22 doesn't show up.
