DGL-4500 port forwarding for NAS
« on: June 12, 2011, 08:08:57 PM »

I wonder what the difference is between the virtual server and game in “Advanced” setup page because I can not find out port forwarding setup page in the router. Which should I use the virtual server / game instead of port forwarding

Virtual server will always have the 1 port open for any 1 given device in the wan, while as Gaming allows the device to open a very large amount of ports or just 1 when needed and when not needed they will be closed. Hint gaming rules are more recommended.
