Bittorrent "conection to server failed"
« on: July 08, 2011, 05:53:50 AM »

i am still experiencing this dreaded message when accessing the bittorrent page.

FW v 1.10 Beta 7 HW version A1

HDD:
Right    Seagate    ST3500320AS    500 G
Left    Seagate    ST3500630AS    500 G

Something I have noticed .. I read in another post that someone else was experiencing the same problem, and it was suggested that the bittorrent client interacts with the right-hand drive, so if the bittorrent client is installed on the left (secondary) drive a communication error can occur.

I tried what wa suggested, and this is what I observed:

The Bittorrent client is installed on the right drive ... It always was, including after the firmware upgrade and re-format of both drives.

If I shut down and remove the left drive, the client behaves as expected. As soon as a insert the left drive and boot the unit back up, the issue recurs.
