« on: July 22, 2011, 10:56:06 PM »

Hi, can someone tell me how to turn off the LEDs on the front of my 323. Its got version 1.08 firmware, and ive tried enable and disable in the configuration. Havent tried a hammer yet, but nothing else seems to want to turn them off? Thanks

You can't, but you could put masking tape over them.

Well according to the dns323 configuration options you can turn on or off the leds.
According to the firmware notes (1.08)on dlinks web site you can turn the leds on or off.

I must be silly because I cant even upload a couple of screen shots of these options above, how do i upload images, if i click the image icon all i get is [img] and cant get link to work to my desktop?

You need to get perhaps a better concept of what you're trying to do - you can't post a link to an image on your desktop, without making your desktop accessible to the entire world.

back to your original issue - as far as I am aware you cannot disable the LEDs - only the power LED, the one behind the power button.

You need firmware 1.08 or above.

As quoted in the original post, I have firmware 1.08 and I have done exactly what you suggest, but it has no effect on the power led. Is this a known problem, or do I have a one-off 323?
