DSR-500N and Verizon FiOS
« on: August 28, 2012, 06:07:38 PM »

Anyone able to get the 500n to work in place of the Verizon FiOS router.
Or i'm thinking you might have to use the verizon box because of firmware in it
to communicate with their DVRs ?   I know i could just connect it to one of the lan ports
on that box. but i want to replace the actiontec verizon router.

I would contact either Dlink or the ISP and ask if this can be used as a replacement router for the ISPs modem. In  most cases, probably not.
