RAID SYSTEM
« on: August 15, 2011, 07:23:29 AM »

This is possible:
Mounting a disk and a 2TB 3TB (RAID 1) .. when removing the disk 2TB, 3TB disk eliminating everything that does not serve and is already in 2TB and 3TB add another to remount another array RAID1.
They understand the idea? works well?

Can you please re-state your question. I think the message was lost in translation.

Let me know if this is possible
Install the DNS-325 with a HDD and a 2TB 3TB (RAID 1)
When the hard drive is full 2TB 3TB replaced by another format both 3TB and return to storage until it is full. save 2TB disk for safety.

What you are describing is automatic resizing of the RAID array. This feature is not available in the DNS-323 and DNS-343. Assuming the DNS-325 is based on the same technology, the RAID array will assume the size of the smallest HDD in the array during the original formatting and retain that size regardless of the capacity of HDDs subsequently added to the device.

If this holds true for the DNS-325, then you will need to create a new array with two drives and copy your data from an external source.

Creo que no nos entendemos.

Voy a explicarlo de otra manera.
Datos:
NAS DNS-325
2xHDD 3TB
RAID 1
----
Formatear ambos y volver a montar RAID1.
